		<description>@Jenn - yes, there are a few companies for whose DRIPs you can 100% bypass a broker, but they are not many.  Usually you need a first share from a broker (or through a friend).  And as for DRIPs with fees?  Forget it - I don&#039;t think they&#039;re worth it.  Might as well go the regular broker route - especially for Americans, for whom there are so many ways to do cheap trades with online brokers.</description>
