I also just finished David's Superclass and although his research was embracing and enlightening, he didn't calculate the destructive results of globalization. What I believe he should have titled his book is " cheers for the supergreedy." I don't see where globalization is anything more than a rush to carve out every bit of natural resources left and the heck with people unless you are one of the superrich. Otherwise, I recommend this book for all us "ignorant" Americans who are left in the dark regarding the truth.

What you say about the book being saddening is something that rings true with me. I was reading the other day how Canada has 1.1million millionaires. That's pretty hard to believe when you wander around some of the neighbourhoods I see on a weekly basis!
